About Us

Anja Matić Butara, owner of two dog grooming salons and an online store, has been working with dogs practically since early childhood. I was born into a family where dogs and other animals were always present. I attended dog shows as a small child together with my parents, and I first competed myself in Junior Handling at the age of eight. Having a life surrounded by dogs and a career connected with them was my childhood dream, and today it has come true almost exactly as I imagined.

The profession of a dog groomer suits me perfectly, and I truly enjoy my work. Over the years, I have become familiar with various brands and suppliers, which I am now happy to offer to all my clients. Due to the nature of my work in the salon, I have continuously improved my knowledge—not only in Europe, but also in Asia, which is renowned for the highest quality standards in dog grooming, styling, and showing.

Today, in addition to grooming and caring for dogs, I also provide conditioning preparation for show dogs, including coat condition as well as physical and psychological fitness. I educate future dog groomers, conduct dog show handling courses, and am the official representative for P&W SCISSORS (a top-quality manufacturer of scissors for dog grooming salons) for Slovenia, Croatia, and Hungary, as well as for NEKMAR professional cosmetics for Slovenia.
